New Yorkers protest racist magazine cover

On July 15, community members and activists gathered in front of the offices of
the New Yorker magazine to denounce the offensive, racist depiction of Barack
and Michelle Obama on the front cover of the magazine's latest issue. The
rally and press conference was organized by State Senator Bill Perkins,
pictured speaking to the press.
