Keeping King’s dream alive

Published Jan 22, 2006 11:44 AM

Five thousand home health care workers and their supporters marched through Harlem Jan. 16, the Martin Luther King holiday, to demand a living wage. They make less than $7-an-hour in one of the most expensive areas to live in the U.S. Many do not get health insurance from their employers. The march and rally were called by SEIU/1199.
