March across Brooklyn Bridge
Published Aug 3, 2006 9:56 PM
Around a thousand people marched across the Brooklyn Bridge July 29 to
protest U.S. complicity in Israel's attacks on Lebanon and Gaza. Besides
contingents of Lebanese, Palestinians and South Asians, there were contingents
from progressive and anti-war organizations, like the International Action
Center, International Socialist Organization, Workers League and Progressive
Labor, as well as contingents of both Orthodox, anti-Zionist Jews and
non-Orthodox Jews.
