Students walk out, demand Bush get out
Published Nov 3, 2005 2:36 AM
Some 1,500 mainly college and high school students left their classes and
gathered at New York’s Union Square on Nov. 2 as part of a national action
called by the “World Can’t Wait” organization to protest the
war in Iraq and “drive out the Bush regime.”The students came from
four local campuses and up to two dozen high schools in the city. Similar
actions were planned for San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and
Atlanta.
