Haitians seek probe of election fraud

New York — Members of the Haitian diaspora in the U.S., known as Haiti’s 11th Department, gathered in a demonstration near the United Nations on Dec. 11. Representing Fanmi Lavalas, Pitit Desalin, Kodinasyon Desalin and KAKOLA, they came to present a letter to Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon asking for a complete investigation of the recent fraudulent presidential elections in Haiti and the U.N.’s role in perpetuating this fraud. They also demanded that foreign governments stop meddling in Haiti’s municipal, legislative and presidential elections.
