Called by Cleveland United Against War, the action was endorsed by Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Workers World Party, Cleveland Peace Action and InterReligious Task Force on Central America. Numerous drivers showed their support by honking, showing fists and thumbs up and chanting along with the protesters: “No war on Iran!” and “No boots on the ground, no bombs in the air! U.S. out of everywhere!”
