Cleveland: ‘No war on Iran!

Antiwar activists gathered in Cleveland’s Market Square Park on April 4 to say “No war on Iran!” Rally speakers represented Cleveland Peace Action, Clevelanders United Against War, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, InterReligious Task Force on Central America and Colombia and Workers World Party. An Iranian speaker described the terror her family in Iran is being subjected to, with bombs falling in Tehran posing a life-and-death threat.

The demonstration took place on the 58th anniversary of the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Clevelanders came out to a second action on April 8, held at the same location, to say “Stop the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran!” This demonstration was organized by the Party for Socialism and Liberation and endorsed by additional anti-imperialist organizations.
