Anti-LGBTQIA2S+ bigots confronted

A number of LGBTQIA2S+ organizations demonstrated outside and inside the Cleveland City Club on Jan. 16 as the bigoted “Center for Christian Virtue” was giving a presentation. Chants included “2-4-6-8, We don’t want your fascist hate!” and “Racist, sexist, anti-gay, Christian fascists go away!” Among the organizations that called demonstrations were the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP) Cleveland and Ecumenical Queer Union for Action and Love (EQUAL).

At least one activist was arrested.
