West Virginia ICE protest

Dozens of protesters came out on the campus of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, on Jan. 17 with signs and chants protesting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). There’s been an uptick in ICE activity in the state recently, with restaurants and other workplaces closing.

The community has come together to fight back against these assaults. The same day there was a walkout of students at Huntington High School. The school board banned any guests or media from coming onto school grounds.
