Demonstrators expose Kamala Harris’s role in genocide

Seattle demonstrators responded to a Kamala Harris book-signing on Nov. 4, Election Day. With banners, leaflets, speeches and drums, they exposed Harris and the Democratic Party’s role in waging genocide in Gaza.

Demonstrators chanted, “Every time the media lies, another child in Gaza dies!”

Speakers castigated Harris for her cynicism in promoting her “107 Days” book during the genocidal war, as Israel continues to violate the ceasefire.

Organizers and speakers at the action were from Nidal, Bilyad and SUPER Palestinian solidarity groups, the Korean solidarity group Haebang and Seattle Against War.

After two hours, the large crowd, composed of people who had paid $100 each to see Harris, had to exit the Benaroya Symphony Hall through a gauntlet of demonstrators chanting “Kamala Harris, you can’t hide! We charge you with genocide!”

Protesters distributed a leaflet that exposed Harris when her presidential campaign stood for war. The leaflet read: “The people demanded a ceasefire. Around 77% of Democrats opposed the U.S. sending Israel weapons.”

The Democrats point towards Trump as the monster, but they are simply a more polite facade for a bloody imperial power that is the greatest threat on earth today.
