Newark, N.J., protest denounces cuts in Social Security

The community group, People’s Organization for Progress, held a rally on April 16 in Newark, N.J., against cuts in Social Security and budget cuts in front of the Social Security Administration building.  The protest took place on a busy street, where their signs evoked ongoing honks of support from cars, trucks and buses.  Another protest was held on April 23.
