Boston committee urges defense of Palestinian
activists
Palestinian activist Amer Jubran was arrested June 10
while leading a protest against a celebration of the 53rd
anniversary of the Israeli state. On July 16 Amer will appear
in court in Brookline, Mass. The Committee to Defend Amer
Jubran and Palestinian Free Speech Rights urges supporters to
demonstrate at the court at 360 Washington St. in Brookline
at 9 a.m. The campaign also is soliciting letters of support.
Sample letters and an online petition to the district
attorney demanding the frame-up charges be dropped can be
found at www.iacboston.org/amerjubran.
