Mumia endorses march on the Pentagon
Death-row political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal has endorsed
the June 5
national demonstrations against the United States/NATO bombing
of
Yugoslavia, the Emergency Mobilization to Stop the War reported
May 11.
Sara Flounders of the International Action Center, an
initiator of the June 5 protests, said, "Thousands of people
will come together to say, `Stop the bombing of Yugoslavia.
Money for jobs, health care and education--not war. Free Mumia
Abu-Jamal.'"
