The International Peace for Cuba Appeal has called a demonstration for July 26 in New York to protest the Helms-Burton Act and to demand an end to the blockade of Cuba. The action is set for 5:00-6:30 p.m. at Times Square. For information phone (212) 633-6646.
In San Francisco, various Cuba solidarity groups including IPCA are hold ing a meeting July 27 at the Women's Building, 3543 18 Street at 7 p.m.
Both actions commemorate the July 26, 1953, attack on the Moncada army barracks that launched the Cuban Revolution.
