This is a peaceful, non-violent demonstration showing discontent toward the rhetoric that won the president elect the election and continues to empower similar rhetoric and skewed thinking within groups of hateful people. This is meant to voice opposition to hate, and also voice support to the groups of people who will most need it in this time of uncertainty. THIS IS ONE EVENT AMONG MANY TO COME IN THE NEXT 4 YEARS. IT DOES NOT STOP HERE.

Penn Students for a Democratic Society
[email protected] for a Democratic Society (SDS) is making a national call to action, to unite all progressives through local mass mobilizations around the country against Donald Trump’s agenda of racism, misogyny, anti-immigrant bigotry, and Islamophobia. We call upon all people to channel their anger into organizing, so we can defend our communities, and build sustainable movements independent of the political establishment that allowed Trump to win.Penn Students for a Democratic Society condemns the racist, anti-immigrant, misogynistic, Islamophobic rhetoric of Donald Trump, and seeks to work in solidarity with oppressed people whose safety is further threatened. We criticize the Democratic Party for pushing a neoliberal agenda and failing to field a candidate who represents the interests of the working class and oppressed. The victory of the reactionary Trump movement threatens to embolden white supremacy in the United States. We call on all students and youth to join us in building people’s power to combat right-wing demagoguery.Trump says go back, we say fight back!

Australia Says: NO to TRUMP! Saturday, January 21st at 1PM – 3PM UTC +11
Archibald Fountain, Hyde Park
Hyde Park, Sydney, Australia We are seeking support from a range of organisations, to add your endorsement send a Facebook message to one of the hosts or email [email protected] 20 is Donald Trump’s inauguration day as US President. Millions worldwide are horrified by everything he represents—from his racist plan for a wall with Mexico and mass deportation of immigrants, to his call for a ban on Muslim migrants, his gross sexism, plan to give massive tax cuts to the rich and his threat to derail any global action on climate change. Trump also threatens to create a more dangerous world through an escalation of military spending and confrontation with China.Trump’s election has already encouraged anti-immigrant and anti-refugee politics in Australia. Pauline Hanson and One Nation celebrated his election. Malcolm Turnbull’s “border control” policies and Peter Dutton’s attack on the Lebanese Muslim community attempt to play on the same xenophobia and scapegoating.Australia’s close military links with the US mean his policies put us in danger too. Join us as part of protests in the US, across Australia and the world to say no to Trump and what he stands for.For more info call Sarah on 0423 742 453

Bayan will lead protests on Friday, January 20, in time for the inauguration of US President Donald Trump.

The protest in Manila will be demanding the pull-out of US troops and facilities in the Philippines, the abrogation of unequal agreements such as the VFA and EDCA, and a stop to US meddling in Philippine affairs. We stand in solidarity with working people, people of color and other oppressed sectors across the US who will be staging protests on this day.

Trump represents the worst of US imperialist interests and poses a danger to the world. His slogan of making America “great again” pertains to keeping the US the number one imperialist power in the world. His election is indicative of the worsening crisis in the US. His presidency will intensify social contradictions in the US.

We will be closely watching the outcome of Trump’s relationship with PH President Rodrigo Duterte. We urge Duterte to maintain an independent foreign policy in relation to the US. Duterte should be wary of what Trump represents.

Protests await Trump if and when he visits the Philippines in November for the East Asia Summit. The US must end is continuing intervention and dismantle its bases in Asia.
