Japanese protest denounces U.S. Aegis destroyer
Published Mar 18, 2007 10:33 PM
Dear friend,
On March 1, USS Mustin, missile destroyer of U.S. navy, arrived in Nagasaki
port. Above 100 workers protest it at Yanagi pier of Nagasaki port. USS Mustin
is an Aegis Destroyer that has antimissile system. It was suspected of carrying
nuclear weapons. About 8:30 a.m. on this day, workers gathered in Yanagi pier
and staged a protest action. And at 9:00 a.m., as giant figure of USS Mustin
was coming in sight, workers chanted intensify to impeach it.
In solidarity,
Anti-war Joint Action Committee secretary Kikuchi Takao March 12
