Buffalo, N.Y., support for Cuban 5

Published May 12, 2005 3:11 PM

Every seat in the house was full at the May 6 Western New York premiere showing of “Mission Against Terror,” a stunning award-winning documentary film on the Cuban 5. Afterwards the audience bought all available copies of the videotape, saying over and over that they were determined to spread the word not only of the unjust imprisonment of the Cuban 5, but also of the decades-long
murderous U.S. campaign against Cuba.

The showing was co-sponsored by the Latin American Solidarity Committee of the Western NY Peace Center, the Canadian-Cuban Friendship Association Niagara Region, and the International Action Center of Buffalo/Western NY.
